Ms. Lillie and Ms. Lisa really love teaching this age group and watching them grow through the years. They shower them with love and nurturing; and snacks. The Preschool Class teaches and introduces children to the Word of God. They learn to pray and learn how to apply Bible Stories to age-appropriate situations. Our goals for the Preschoolers are to learn the Lord’s Prayer, Bible Verses, and to feel comfortable making prayer requests among peers. Our Sunday School program caters to children up to approximately 6 years of age. It is designed to lead children to learn and understand various topics from the Bible. The course is spread over a one-year period, during which the children work through the whole Bible with many different themes and activities including: the Bible, Lord’s Prayer, Righteousness and How to Pray. Our upcoming schedule is available from the teachers. Please stop by to learn more.

Students who complete the curriculum before they are ready for 6th grade promotion will be recognized as Honor Grads. In addition, the first boy and girl who complete the curriculum before their promotion year will be recognized as the class King and Queen. Like the Valedictorian of a class. We do celebrate HONOR graduates and the King and Queen during their graduation to the Intermediate class at our Annual Sunday School Advancement/Promotion ceremony the second Sunday in September. All fundamentals are reviewed in Junior Class throughout the year(s). However, it is equally important for your child to study and prepare at home. Each student will be given the opportunity to be “checked off” in class every Sunday during the Sunday School period (8:30AM-9:15AM). The kids earn tickets for participation in class and completing each check-off on the curriculum. They can use their accumulated tickets to shop in our classroom store each quarter. As a parent we ask that you encourage your child to study the materials and commit God’s words and laws to memory. As a child grows to Love God’s Word, they will find strength and solace in the Word and be able to call upon the Lord in times of temptation, trials, tribulations and success in their young life and find comfort and strength to go forward. Our Junior Class Motto: I can do all things through Christ, Who strengthens me, Philippians 4:13.

Intermediate Class
Middle School Grades 6th -8th
Facilitators: Cadesha Edwards & Chinyere ‘Chichi’ Nwanko
Location:  Room #114

Our Middle School Class is for pre-teens (typically ages 11-14 or from 6th - 8th Grade). We engage them with Bible stories, Christian values, and discussions on life issues, fostering spiritual growth and identity; which helps bolster self-esteem and confidence. We employ interactive methods like storytelling, group discussions, and games to facilitate learning. The curriculum is designed to answer middle schoolers' specific questions about identity and purpose, helping them connect their faith to their real-world experiences and challenging them to live out their faith.

-Age-Appropriate Curriculum:
Lessons are designed to focus on their specific developmental stage and concern.
-Interactive & Engaging:
Use storytelling, games, discussion, and media to keep students engaged, moving beyond basic crafts and coloring pages.
-Focus on Identity and Purpose:
Help students understand their identity in Christ and their purpose in God's plan
-Real-Life Application:
Connect Biblical truths to the challenges of the middle school years, helping students navigate transitions and make wise choices
-Discussion & Questioning:
Provide a safe environment for asking questions and exploring faith in a more mature way than elementary Sunday School.
-Discipleship & Responsibility:
As students mature, lessons emphasize discipleship, the responsibilities of being a Christian, and living out their faith beyond the church walls.

Our teachers, Ms. Cadesha and Ms. Chichi, are experienced experts in connecting with middle schoolers and creating a vibrant, relational learning environment. Teachers remain passionate about Christ and project their light to push past the darkness that can overwhelm students in middle school. They work alongside parents to restore hope, faith, and peace to encourage students to overcome another day, week, or month of middle school!

High School Class
Grades 9th -12th
Teacher: Quentin Garland
Location: Room #102

Mr. Quentin’s High School class is designed as an intersection between learning the Word of God and applying it to everyday life experiences. We aim to prepare students to graduate and step into adulthood as young men and women who are:
1. Educated in reading and studying the Bible, using it as a guide and source of inspiration.
2. Grounded in prayer and praise, with an understanding of how to share Christ and bring others to Him.
3. Equipped not only for spiritual growth but also for life, education, and career success—focusing on higher education attainment, professional development, and connecting students with resources to help them thrive.
Our instructors bring a unique combination of Christian faith, life experiences, and professional backgrounds. They serve as teachers, mentors, and examples—meeting students where they are and allowing Christ to guide their growth. Together, we are equipping the next generation to live boldly as Christians in every aspect of life.

Location: Room #115
VIRTUAL LINK - Understanding The 40 Parables
Understanding the 40 Parables of Jesus Christ takes the approach of understanding Jesus's parables by examining the genre, spiritual context, and historical culture. The goal of this approach is to “reveal” theology from the Bible as opposed to trying to find verses to support a belief. This is the difference between letting the Bible tell us what is true, versus someone trying to find evidence for what they want to believe. When we allow the Bible to teach us what to believe, we can better set aside our own biases and become more receptive to God's truth.

VIRTUAL LINK - Jesus' Sermon On The Mount
“The Sermon on the Mount”, as it is commonly referred to, is most likely a summary of an entire sermon taught and preached by Jesus on this theme: The Righteousness that is the Standard of His Kingdom. It is the first of five major discourses or subject areas taught and preached by Jesus and presented in the words of Christ by His disciple Matthew in the Gospel of Matthew.  During our study of “The Sermon on the Mount”, we will be introduced to the broad purposes of Matthew’s Gospel, the other four subject area presented in the Gospel, the degree of response and success of the beginning of Jesus’ ministry as He went about proclaiming the message of the kingdom and authenticated His claims by healing people. However, our focus will be to study and understand the Character of those in the Kingdom including the Beatitudes, what it means for believers to be salt and light of the earth, and several other subtopics under this theme. We will certainly learn about why there is so much stress on kingdom, and so much emphasis on righteousness.  Join us in our study as we discover what The Sermon on the Mount is and what its purpose is for believers.
