WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Your hotel room, resort fee, and self-parking were included in your registration. 
  • Hotel rooms will not be ready until 3:30 pm on FRI 2/13.
  • Valet parking will be billed directly to your room if you chose this parking option.
  • A credit card is required at check-in for incidentals.
  • Meals include vegetarian options – notify us of dietary needs if you haven’t already done so.

ATTIRE GUIDELINES:
Weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear is recommended!

FRIDAY DAYTIME: Business Casual
Business casual typically includes slacks, khakis, dressy jeans, button-down shirts, blouses, casual dresses or skirts,
and comfortable shoes (including clean, dress-appropriate sneakers).  Please avoid ripped jeans, t-shirts, shorts, or athletic wear.


FRIDAY GALA: Formal Attire
Formal attire is a dark suit or tuxedo for men and a formal dress, full-length gown, cocktail dress or formal pantsuit for women.

SATURDAY: Business Casual
Business Casual in Black, Red, White or a combination of these colors.

COUPLES FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

         What time does the retreat start on Friday, February 13, 2026?
          Breakfast will be served at 9:00 am.  The Opening Session begins at 10:00 am

         What time will the retreat end on Saturday, February 14, 2026?
          The retreat concludes at 1:30 PM, giving couples the rest of Valentine’s Day to enjoy together.

         Are the rooms King rooms?
          Yes

         What is the schedule of events?
          The Opening Session begins on Friday, February 13th at 10:00 AM. The retreat concludes on Saturday, February 14th at 1:30 PM.
          Continue to monitor this webpage for a full detailed schedule as we get closer to the event.
          In addition, the schedule will be emailed to all registered couples.

        What are the arrival and check out times?
         Please arrive by 10:00 AM on Friday, February 13th for the Opening Session. Your bags will be stored until room check-in,
         which will be built into the schedule.
         Checkout will take place on Saturday, February 14th after breakfast, with storage provided for your bags.

        What meals are covered?
         We have contracted for 5 meals total:
         • 2 breakfasts
         • 2 lunches
         • 1 dinner

        Can I make my payment online?
         No. Registration and payments will be handled in person only at the Keeping the Covenant table after service each Sunday.
         There is no online registration or link. A representative will be at the table to assist you with your initial registration
         and to make your payments.

        How do I reserve my space?
         To reserve your spot, please stop by the table to submit the $50 non-refundable deposit (or you’re welcome to pay in full).

       When is the last day I can sign up?
        We will be collecting money until January 4, 2026, or when we reach 40 couples, whichever comes first.

        When do I need to be paid in full?
         We are encouraging full payment as soon as possible, but the final balance will be due Sunday, January 4, 2026.

         Will this event be promoted outside of Turner Chapel?
          Currently, this retreat is being marketed internally to Turner Chapel married couples. However, if we don’t reach
          our goal of 40 couples by the end of October, we will share the opportunity with other marriage ministries
          who’ve partnered with us in the past.

         Is there a discounted room rate available for couples who want to stay more days than the one-night retreat date?
          Yes. The resort is offering our group rate of $350 (all fees included) for up to two days before or after the retreat.
         ⚠️ Important: This rate extension is subject to Château Élan’s occupancy being under 85% for the extra night being booked. 
          We’ll have a clearer picture after submitting our master rooming list in mid-January 2026, but we cannot guarantee availability at       
          the group rate.  The additional room night of $350 will be collected via cash, check, cashiers check, or money order and
         must be paid in full at the time of requesting the extra night. In the event the discounted rate is not honored
          due to hotel occupancy, you have 2 options: 1) pay the difference in the room rate or 2) get a refund check.

         Will there be time to enjoy resort amenities?
          Absolutely! Once the final schedule is released, we encourage you to plan time for:
          ·   Golf
          ·   Spa treatments
          ·   Wine tastings or cooking classes
          ·   Fitness center & wellness sessions
          ·   Or just strolling the beautiful Château Élan grounds

         Will the gala be a formal event?

         Is parking included in our registration?
          Yes, self-parking is included as part of your retreat registration. If you prefer to use valet parking,
          please note that it is not covered and will be billed directly to your room by the resort.

         I am unable to attend, but I'd like to be a blessing to another couple.
         We welcome scholarships to bless a couple. Please stop by the Keeping The Covenant table after service
          to submit your scholarship payment.

        Are sponsorship opportunities available?
         Yes, more details to come.

        Will childcare be offered during the retreat?
         No. Childcare will not be provided during the retreat.
