The Fellowship Ministry area connects Turner Chapel AME members to each other, to help lead us to the knowledge and the feeling that we are one body in Christ. Members bond together by loving each other, staying in constant prayer for one another, and empowering each other. “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7 NIV

Dream Lifters offers professional development on various business topics to share resources with those who need help in an existing business or to start a business. It also provides support, encouragement and instruction to the unemployed an underemployed by facilitating workshops and seminars designed to meet the needs of jobseekers and those desiring career advancement.
Turner Chapel’s Young Adult ministry is called Echelon. The purpose of Echelon is to extend support, encouragement, and Biblical teaching to young adults, ages 18-26. Echelon strives to offer young adults the opportunity to serve at church and in the community. Echelon offers a variety of activities that focus on fellowship, worship, service, evangelism and discipleship. Echelon gives young adult believers the chance to connect with one another and strives to give them the opportunity to grow in their relationship with the Lord by being involved in ministry and utilizing their authentic gifts and talents. “Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity.” -Hebrews 6:1A
This ministry provides assistance, care, and guidance to elderly members by coordinating activities and fellowship opportunities to benefit the elderly.
Healthcare Ministry encourages a healthier congregation by increasing members’ awareness of healthcare issues. The ministry sponsors informational events throughout the year and provides First Aid care during church services.
Keeping the Covenant supports, encourages, and instructs married couples through fellowship activities, seminars, small group Bible Study, workshops, and retreats to assist in building stronger Christian marriages.
The Needle Craft Group provides a forum for sharing various knitting, crocheting and sewing techniques. Their work is displayed during an annual craft show.
RWM addresses the needs and issues that pertain to women through a variety of activities: Bible Study classes, seminars, workshops, revivals, retreats/advances, shopping trips and more. Women can grow spiritually and become connected.
This ministry develops and implements an array of activities where men gather to fellowship and address specific issues and challenges relating to men.
