The mission of Turner Chapel A.M.E. Membership Ministry Purpose is to extend opportunities to members to increase spiritual understanding and to fully integrate into active service utilizing their God given gifts, talents and treasures. Membership Ministry facilitates new members through the orientation process as well as provides classes that assist members in identifying their spiritual gifts and directs them to the proper areas of service. “Each of you has been blessed with one of God's many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gifts well.” - I Peter 4:10 (CEV).

The New Members Ministry assists in the orientation of new members to Turner Chapel AME by organizing and scheduling orientation classes, facilitating class fellowships, receptions, and coordinating the receiving of new members into full membership.
The Visitor’s Recognition Ministry provides genuine hospitality and offers spiritual support to visitors, and those who are transitioning to membership.
The Ministry Fairs Ministry provides an opportunity for members to gather information and join the various ministries at Turner Chapel AME. They host several Ministry Fairs annually where all ministries at Turner Chapel are in one location which makes it easier for participants to learn about ministries and sign-up to get connected.
