during our Noonday Bible study!! Our topic for the next 2 weeks is
developing Christ-like character.
We
talk religious talk, send out religious letters, write religious pamphlets, and
do religious Bible studies. It so easy to become religious. The Bible
says we must “discipline ourselves for the purpose of godliness.” Do YOU really
want to be like Christ? We’ll explore 8 essential disciplines to get you
there: Intimacy, Simplicity, Silence and Solitude, Surrender, Prayer, Humility,
Self-Control, and Sacrifice. While developing these eight essential
disciplines in your life, your relationship with Christ will flourish, and you
well become more Christ-like.
