Gifted to Serve is designed to help discover, evolve, and employ your spiritual gifts. As we embark to discover more about how God has structured each of us for ministry, we desire that you find a place of service here at Turner Chapel AME Church. One that fits the unique way God has masterminded your creation. Your SHAPE (Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experience) determines your ministry, and our prayer is that as you journey through this course you will discover more about how you are uniquely fashioned for ministry. God did not purpose ministry for a select few with seminary degrees. Every member of the body of Christ has received at least one gift. SHAPE – Gifted to Serve is an exciting journey of revelation, confirmation and a catalyst of how God wants to use each of us for ministry. As you begin to discover your SHAPE, pray and expect God to grant you wisdom, discernment, and understanding of your special gift. There are no wrong answers — you may not be a square, circle, triangle or polygon — you are uniquely gifted for an unfathomable purpose! We are thrilled to witness the big reveal, engagement or birth of your gift. Our desire is that you find a fulfilling place to serve where you can use your gifts here at Turner Chapel AME Church and the community. At the end of the class, you are encouraged to join a ministry that fits your MINISTRY PROFILE, one that allows you to exercise your gift to serve God and others.
