Often when people think about investing, they think about the movements of stock prices in the market. While that is an important aspect of investing to build wealth, you can also employ strategies to boost your income. As we begin our series of workshops in line with our theme of Making Money While You Sleep, this webinar will tackle the topic of building an investment portfolio that generates passive income.
About our speaker - KEVIN TOLBERT
Kevin is employed with Macy’s Technology (MTech) and has previously worked for a number of major corporations. He is currently pursuing his Certified Financial Planning Certification through the University of Georgia – Terry College of Business as he transitions into financial services, having been a passionate investor to build wealth for his family. Kevin is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and earned a BS Degree in Computer Science from Alabama A&M University and MS Degree in Management of Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University. He has been married his wife, Tameka, for 27 years, and they have two young adult children, Courtney and Evan. Kevin has been a member of Turner Chapel AME Church since 2007 and currently serves as Vice Chair of Steward Board and Co-Teacher for Men’s Sunday School class, having previously served in Sons of Allen and YPD ministries, and he is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. Kevin’s favorite verses from scripture are Proverbs 3:3-4, “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.”
