In 1997, Mr. Henry Pash assumed the position of Turner Chapel’s first Church Administrator. In this capacity, some of his ongoing responsibilities are payroll processing, accounts payable, overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of all Turner’s facilities, grounds equipment and vehicles through the management of the custodial staff, ensuring adequate and appropriate insurance coverage, reviewing and signing contracts and the leasing of Turner’s office and other church equipment. Information technology projects and support are also his to manage. Finally, he serves as a purpose head to the leaders of the Bookstore, the Kitchen Committee and the church Ambassadors (volunteer receptionists).
A member of Turner Chapel since 1990, Mr. Pash served as a Steward and Sunday School Superintendent prior to becoming the Church Administrator. He is a native of Louisville, KY and is retired from IBM. He married his college sweetheart and together they have two children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. His interests include history, especially Black history, genealogy, tent camping and enjoys spending time with his family both immediate and extended. His favorite scripture is Psalm 103 because it provides such a vivid description of God’s character, His unconditional love, grace, mercy and forgiving nature.
