4. Revelation reveals God’s future plan

5. Revelation will give us a concern for those who reject God and His Son, Jesus

Excerpt from In The Book of Revelation (The Smart Guide to the Bible Series) by Daymond R. Duck and Larry Richards

God has a message for you, and it is in Revelation; but there’s a catch! The catch is you must read and study Revelation in order to receive the message. Revelation is exciting and mysterious and contains prophecy and a lot of symbolism, so we will reference several other books (especially the book of Daniel) and explore aspects of prophecy such as: The Rapture; The Second Coming; The Tribulation Period; The Unholy Trinity; The Millennium; and many other aspects of prophecy. Much symbolism can be found in the Book of Revelation; however, just like other books in the Bible, you don’t need a Ph. D. to understand. As you pray and study and ask God to reveal the meanings of other scripture that you study, He will do so.If you are just beginning to study the Bible, I personally would not recommend that you begin your study with Revelation; however, in considering that God has promised a blessing for all who will read or hear the words of the prophecy of Revelation, and keep the things written in it, all students are welcome to attend.
