Comfort and Care Ministry
The Ministry of Comfort & Care is designed to effectively address the emergent needs of the congregation which includes but is not limited to new births, hospitalization, terminal illness and death. It is our desire to make a difference in the lives of the body here at Turner through prayer and encouragement.
Financial Empowerment Ministry
The mission of the Financial Empowerment Ministry is to provide financial educational content grounded in Biblical Stewardship principles to address people's immediate and long term needs to help them achieve a higher level of financial prosperity so they can make a greater contribution to uplifting the Kingdom of God. The Financial Empowerment Conference Series began in 2012 and is an annual series of educational programs that promote financial empowerment, tied together by a central theme that is rooted in scripture. Each year the series is kicked off by the annual Financial Empowerment Conference and is followed up by targeted forums, workshops, and classes throughout the year that address relevant financial issues we face on an ongoing basis, building on the principles discussed during the conference.

Improving lives…Enhancing Relationships
When struggle comes, as struggle does to every life (John 16:33), we want you to know that the counseling center at Turner Chapel AME is here for you. We are here to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empathic environment, where you can explore issues of life, discover new strengths, and experience hope and renewal.
The staff here at the counseling center is psychologically trained and theologically equipped to support and care for you and your family during time of struggle. As Bishop Tutu rightly observed, “a person is a person through other persons.” You do not have to be alone and isolated in your struggle.
