Meet the members of The Village who offer God-focused leadership to the youth of Turner Chapel.

The Village parallels the purpose driven model of the entire church. Therefore, just as we have Purpose Leaders for the adult congregation, we also have Purpose Leaders within The Village. Our youth leaders ensure proper application of the purpose driven model across the entire Village.

Let's meet the head of the Youth Purpose:

Youth Pastor

Rev. Don Ezell is the Youth Pastor and head of The Village. Rev. Don is currently a senior Business Management Major at Southern Polytechnic State University.

After his anticipated graduation next year, he plans to continue his education and pursue a Masters of Divinity degree. Rev. Ezell is married to Crystal and they have two children, Alexis and Antoinio (DJ).

Fourth Sunday is Youth Sunday!

Every fourth Sunday, the congregations from the pee-wee, children's, and teen churches unite to host and conduct the Turner's adult worship service.

Youth are involved in every aspect of worship - from reading scriptures and leading praise to hosting our weekly video announcements. Youth Sunday also features creative praise offerings from our youth, including dance, step, and mime ministry.

Rev. Don Ezell also delivers his powerful spiritual message in creative and contemporary ways on Youth Sunday. During the worship service, there is always something that ministers to any child of God - be sure to join us!
