Sharpening the Arrow: Scholarships, Internships, and Summer Programs

We believe in developing our youth in ways that will enable them to fully realize God's purpose in for lives. A significant part of this development is preparation for college admission. Whatever colleges and universities our children choose they should be equipped with a competitive college application package which requires advance planning and that planning begins now—music, dance, academic, leadership, athletic, and need-based scholarships await them…if they have a plan! Successfully packaging our youth for a highly competitive college admissions process will open doors for them from Howard to the Ivy League; from Morehouse to MIT; and from Spelman to Wellesley. As future alumni of these highly competitive schools, our youth can open doors to the next generation of TCC young people as we cultivate generation after generation of powerful men and women of God and thinkers and leaders of the country.

Ensuring that every young person at TCC leaves elementary school with a middle school plan; leaves middle school with a high school plan; and enters the 11th grade with a quality college admissions package that showcases their many gifts and talents, contributions to our church and their community, and personal achievements that will open the door into their dream colleges as they continue toward realizing God’s purpose in their lives will require the efforts of "the village."
