Care & Counseling
The Care and Counseling Center of Georgia (CCCG) is a faith-based, ecumenical organization that offers a wide range of professional pastoral care services designed to meet the needs of individuals, couples, families, and to support the pastoral work of church leaders and ministers. Counseling in the pastoral tradition serves people of all faiths as well as those who profess no religious belief.
Therapists at the Care and Counseling Center of Turner Chapel understand that effective counseling respects the individual beliefs and spiritual values of each person. We also serve those of every gender, race, creed, and ethnic background.

Pastoral counselors are ordained ministers representing many faiths, church and denominational backgrounds. Each counselor has advanced clinical training in the practice of psychotherapy and many of the pastoral counselors are licensed by the state of Georgia as marriage and family therapists, professional counselors and clinical social workers. A majority of the Pastoral Counselors are certified by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, a professional organization that maintains rigorous standards of membership.
Our Care and Counseling center has a 90 year history built upon a strong union of two established counseling programs formerly known as the Georgia Association for Pastoral Care and The Verdery Center for Pastoral Care and Counseling of the Georgia Baptist Healthcare System.
