Gears of War

2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

So far this month has been “hellacious” and because you are family I can tell you. Hopefully this testimony will set you free - From home invasion to the death of a 16 year old friendship, to being stranded 3 hrs from home, personal attacks, heartache, heartbreak, physical exhaustion etc etc etc.

Some of you can probably expand on your own issues but the bottom line is that I set out months ago to do something for God. This week is the week of that thing that we set out to do and because it is non traditional and will change lives the enemy is angry.

James 1:2 says to count it all joy when all manners of evil come against you and I am starting to understand why. Anything that we do for God and earnestly for his people is going to come at a price. Nothing worth having comes easy because God shows you if you have a heart to do what he has called you to do. Its easy to quit when things get hard and trust I wanted to but I continued to say to the Lord “if I know that you are with me than I know I can go on”.

Its hard to go on when you are hurt and its hard to go on when you feel like you are by yourself but when you finally give up and throw in the towel and say “Lord I cant - thats when God shows up!

Only what we do for Christ shall last and if in whatever you do you are doing it for God expect trials and attacks to come but remember to put on the whole armor of God and that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER.

PRAYER:

Dear Lord I will not allow the enemy to kill me or allow me to kill myself I know that in my own strength and power its hard but I also know that I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Help me Lord to get through the day and every day that I wake I will give you praise. Forgive me Lord for my short comings and help me forgive those that have hurt me. I pray for your people that are hurting that they be healed and ask that in everything that I do you get the glory. Thank you for your love and never leaving me comfort me in my time of trial and continue to give me power to bruise the enemies head and send him and his demons straight back to hell!
