We are simply overjoyed that you have taken the time to visit our site.

At Turner Chapel AME, we like to believe that we are a model AME church. We are constantly trying new things and experimenting with new approaches to ministry. Nothing we do is purely traditional. We are committed to adjusting what we do in order to reach the world for Christ.

Our mission here at Turner is simply, “To Connect Persons To Christ” and we dedicate and commit ourselves to the fulfillment of this assignment.

We are a church Destined to Make a Difference in the lives of God’s people. We strive to be a place where people can experience God’s transforming power; a place where people can discover their purpose, their place and their calling; a place where people can be trained and empowered to love and to serve their neighbor, their community and their world.

We are sensitive to the needs of others. That is why we offer a plethora of outreach programs – from offering childcare and parenting skills classes for teen mothers returning to high school to American Red Cross blood drives, from encouraging Cobb’s incarcerated men and women to providing meals for Must Ministries. We provide a multitude of ministries designed to meet the spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial needs of Turner members and people in the community.

We believe it is possible to transform people into godly, loving, wholesome, compassionate individuals who can positively impact the community, the society and ultimately the world.
