The Cathedral of Turner
Chapel
You
are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives
power and strength to his people. Praise be to God! Psalm
68:34-36
The Cathedral of Turner Chapel
truly resonates with the spirit of God. This extraordinary
facility and sanctuary is the culmination of a vision and
years of planning and sacrifice that God transformed to reality
in March 2005 when our congregation occupied our new church
home.
This structure, designed
by the architecture firm Stanley
Love Stanley of Atlanta and constructed by Potts
Company stretches toward heaven, combining an octagonal
sanctuary design with spiritually symbolic exterior appointments.
The building's hallmark is a striking arched picture window
behind the pulpit area that illuminates the sanctuary.
While we are truly blessed
by the modern features, efficiencies and space that the Cathedral
offers us, our ministry focus is salvation and service outside
the bricks and mortar that make up the Cathedral of Turner
Chapel. Our purpose is to bring the un-churched and those
in need in the surrounding community to Christ. To that purpose,
this magnificent edifice fulfills our mission of connecting
persons to Christ.
Please enjoy the various
features that will provide you with a virtual perspective
of the Cathedral of Turner Chapel. However, to experience
the transforming and redeeming power of God in the midst,
please come visit us in person very soon. You are welcome!
